The Services

Bica is a smart application that keeps track of your business expenses. Set up your account. Register your business and you’re free to spend. The end of the month you receive an invoice. The beginning of the month your balance of €1000 is available again.

Leading a financial digital product have been done by implementing agile & scrum methodologies. In collaboration with Corebuild and her developers, we have been implementing application functionalities every Quarter. Providing a work culture of trust, alignment & refinements helped the team in developing at the right speed.

Approach

Keeping track of Key Product Indicators, and taking responsibility of these towards the product her investor resulted in 4 mobile applications that have been developed in both Apple & Android her stores. Analyzing other financial providers as N26, Revolut, Bunq, Certify, Soldo, Splendesk, Divvy, PEX, Curve, Zoho, Expensive & Pleo gave an overall view over the financial market and the functionalities that have been applied.

Aligning and requiring functional needs from stakeholders like Twikey & ABN Amro gave an overview of the implementations of third application integrations that needed to be done to verify the user during onboarding (Know Your Customer) and let the user set a spending limit through a connection with their bank.

The Bica Payment service contains a service that is provided to enterpreneurs that makes Food & Beverage spendings in restaurants, coffee places, café’s & to-go places.

To interpretates the target audiences his feelings & experiences about the service, we defined the useable journey mapping that brings insights in the various devices & its platforms.

Methodologies

We mapped all the user her touchpoints with the Bica service, based on the Day in the Life methodology that not only brings insights in the several channels, the various platforms, but also provides all the touchpoints that the end-user has with the Bica service.

The business model is a monthly invoice that summarizes the Food & Beverage spending that has been done by enterpreneurs, and have been validated by the user scenario’s that have been defined & validated.

To verify the user onboarding (Know Your Customer) we integrated Twikey her third-party integration to set up a bank connection. This integration either has been validated by the validation methodology ‘screening’. We defined the user experience during the onboarding and have been iterating on the unclarities of Bica her payment service.
